Whitmire Golf
The Whitmire Golf Course is located on 168 Golf Alley, bordered by Hwy 72, The Enoree River, and The Legends Stadium (Former Wolverine Stadium The Whitmire Golf Association is the governing body & is comprised of elected officers, members and volunteers. From physical maintenance and mowing of the course, golf cart repairs to hosting fundraiser tournaments, the association members wear many hats.
The Whitmire Golf Course is the summer home of the youth oriented Teach a Kld To Plav Golt. The Association members work with Whitmire vouth, teaching golf basics
such as etiquette, rules, swings,club selection,body mechanics. The WA is the Home for long running The Annual Wolverine Classic
The Golf Course is a Public, with green and cart fee as well as yearly memberships. As an incentive to increase membership and educate our youth, Junior High, High School and College ages youth @ adults can play free. *Youth 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 21 for cart rental. Our Recreation Department Offers a variety of year around activities & events. From group sports like biddie basketball, flag and tackle football to Dixie Minors & Majors and girls softball. Located in the heart of the Sumter National Forest-plenty of outdoor and leisure time activities and venues surround Whitmire.The nationally recognized Palmetto Trail, The Brickhouse Hunt Camp, The Indian Creek Rifle Range, Hwy 66 equestrian & moto-cross trails.
